Connecting your tenant for Power Platform Backup
Enabling Power Platform backup requires granting admin consent and selecting the environments to protect. Nexetic discovers the available environments and automatically configures access for the selected Dataverse-enabled environments.
- In the Nexetic Backup Portal, go to Power Platform → Settings and select Connect Power Platform.
- You'll be redirected to a Microsoft sign-in screen. Sign in with an account that has Global Administrator rights, and grant admin consent.
- You're returned to the Nexetic Backup Portal. Nexetic discovers the Power Platform environments in your tenant.
- Open Power Platform → Environments, select the Dataverse-enabled environments you want to protect, and click Save.
- Check the setup status on the Environments page. You can also follow setup progress in Task Manager. Automatic backup scheduling begins once at least one selected environment is ready.
If setup fails for a selected environment: review the error and click Save again on the Environments page to retry setup.
