Enabling Power Platform backup takes a single step: granting admin consent in the Nexetic Backup Portal. Nexetic then automatically configures the access it needs and discovers every environment in your tenant — no manual permission setup required.
Connecting your tenant for Power Platform Backup
Power Platform Backup uses a single admin consent step — once granted, Nexetic sets up everything else automatically.
- In the Nexetic Backup Portal, go to Power Platform → Settings and select Connect Power Platform.
- You'll be redirected to a Microsoft sign-in screen. Sign in with an account that has Global Administrator rights, and grant admin consent.
- You're returned to the Nexetic Backup Portal. Nexetic automatically sets up the access it needs and discovers every Power Platform environment in your tenant.
- On the Settings page, check the connection status and environment count to confirm setup completed successfully.
If an environment shows an access issue: select Repair access and repeat step 2 — no separate manual configuration is needed.
