Recovery for Power Platform brings back Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Power Pages sites, and entire solutions from any protected snapshot.
What can be restored
- Power Apps — canvas apps and model-driven apps
- Power Automate — cloud and desktop flows
- Power Pages — external-facing portal sites
- Solutions — restoring a solution brings back its flows, apps, and Power Pages sites together, in that order
Where restored items go
- Recovery currently restores an item back into its original environment. Restoring into a different environment isn't available yet.
- The environment the item belongs to must already exist — recovery brings back the item's content, not the environment container itself.
How to restore an item
- Open the item you want to recover and view its snapshot history.
- Choose the point-in-time snapshot you want.
- Choose to download it or restore it directly.
- Confirm the restore. You'll be told that the recovery is queued for the current environment and that the item's existing state may change once the recovery finishes.
Restoring a whole solution
- Restoring a solution restores all of its eligible flows, apps, and Power Pages sites in a single action, using each item's most recent snapshot.
- Any item that doesn't have a snapshot yet is automatically skipped, and shown with the reason so nothing restores silently.
Good to know
- Power Pages sites may need their hosting connection re-bound and reactivated manually after a restore completes.
