To ensure the comprehensive coverage of Nexetic Backup for Entra ID's restore processes, we are initiating automated, randomized restore tests, which will be performed regularly in our backend system (e.g., weekly). Our goal is to confirm that our system can handle the latest Entra ID fields and object types that are periodically added to the service.
We would love to have your permission to use your backed-up Entra ID data in these tests, as utilizing actual customer data makes the tests significantly more effective and ensures their practical relevance.
During testing, we automatically restore random objects from various Entra ID modules (such as Users, Groups, Applications) into our test environment. Our system verifies the success of the restore operations to ensure that all data can be processed and recovered correctly.
The process is fully automated, and we only manually review cases where a restore fails. For privacy reasons, all restored data is automatically deleted from our system after the test results are confirmed.
