Why it matters
Power Platform and Power BI have become everyday tools for running a business. Approval processes run on Power Automate, teams work in Power Apps, and leadership relies on Power BI reports to make decisions. Many of these are built by business teams themselves, outside IT's usual backup routines.
Microsoft keeps the platform running, but what you build on it is your own responsibility. A flow deleted by mistake, an environment cleaned up too eagerly, or a compromised account can quietly break processes your business depends on. Without a backup, that work may be gone for good.

How it works for you
- Set it and forget it. Choose which environments and workspaces to protect, and backups run automatically twice a day. New and changed content is picked up without any extra work.
- New environments covered automatically. Turn on automatic protection in the backup settings, and new Power Platform environments are added to backup as soon as they appear.
- Back on track in a few clicks. Pick an item, choose a point in time and restore it. Power BI content can be restored to a new or an existing workspace.
- Keep a copy. Download backed-up items, such as Power BI report files, for safekeeping.
- Full history. Backup history is kept indefinitely by default, so you can always go back.

Full visibility. See at a glance what's protected, follow restores in Task Manager, and review actions in the Audit Log.
One portal for your whole Microsoft cloud
If you already use Nexetic Backup for Microsoft 365 or Entra ID, the new backup lives in the same Backup Portal, with the same login and look.
Your data, safe in the EU
The service is fully operated within the EU, and you can choose where your backup data is stored:
- Microsoft Azure in Ireland
- Google Cloud in Hamina, Finland

Good to know
- Power Platform environments need Dataverse to be protected.
- Personal Power BI workspaces ("My workspace") are not included.
- Your Global Administrator gives Nexetic access once, and you stay in control: that access can be reviewed or revoked at any time in Microsoft's own admin settings.
