Setting Up Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) for the Nexetic Portal

We have introduced Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) for the Nexetic Portal. You can now sign in using your own tenant's Microsoft admin credentials instead of separate admin credentials.

This guide explains how to set up and use Microsoft SSO.

Option 1: When no one in the organization can access the Portal (no password-based login set up)

1.a) Request Your Custom Sign-In Link

  • To obtain your first-time custom sign-in link for the Vendor Portal, email Nexetic Support
  • Once you receive the link, open it and select the Sign in with Microsoft 365 option.
  • Proceed from Phase 2.

Note

You must be a Global Admin for your Microsoft 365 tenant to configure this option. This setup applies to your own (vendor/reseller) organization.

Option 2: When you already have access via the separate password sign‑in

1.b) Configure SSO from within the Portal

If you can already sign in to the Vendor Portal using the separate password option:

  • Go to the Vendor Users page.
  • Select Configure SSO in the top‑right corner.
  • Proceed to the next step.

2) Sign In with Microsoft 365 Global Admin Credentials

Enter your Microsoft 365 Global Admin credentials.

3) Grant Permissions for the Nexetic Vendor Portal

You will be redirected to Microsoft to grant permissions for the Nexetic Vendor Portal application. Click Accept to continue. You will then be redirected back to the Nexetic Portal.

4) Grant Access to Other Users in Your Organization

After enabling Microsoft SSO, you can allow other users in your organization to sign in with it.

  • Sign in to the Microsoft Entra Admin Center
  • Navigate to Enterprise Applications
  • Select Nexetic Vendor Portal (Application ID: 2681f86a-a234-434d-9a0d-49f1e1b14404)

5) Require User Assignments

Under Properties, change Assignment required setting to Yes

6) Assign Users and Groups

  • Go to Users and Groups and click Add user/group.
  • Select the users or groups you want to grant access to.
  • These users will now be able to sign in to the Nexetic Portal via Microsoft SSO.

7) Sign In Using Microsoft SSO

Users who have been granted access can go to the Nexetic Portal sign-in page and select Sign in with Microsoft to log in.
