Automating Monthly License Reports for Resellers

You can now set up a reseller's License Report (Excel) to be sent automatically on a recurring schedule, instead of needing to run it manually in Vendor Portal when needed.

Who can use this

This feature is available to:

  • Vendor users with Admin-level access

Vendor users with Sales or Read-only access do not have access to this feature.

Where to find it

  1. In Vendor Portal, go to the Vendors page.
  2. Find the reseller you want to set up, and select License report automation from the Actions menu for that row.

Setting up automatic sending

A settings window will open for the selected reseller.

  1. Turn on automation using the switch at the top ("Enable license report automation"). Until this is switched on, the rest of the settings are inactive.
  2. Choose a schedule. Pick one of three options:
    • End of month — sends the report on the last day of each month.
    • Invoicing cycle — sends the report on the 20th of each month, aligned with Nexetic's internal invoicing cycle so the figures match what's used for billing.
    • Custom schedule — lets you set your own recurrence:
      • Recurrence: Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly
      • Day of month for Monthly recurrence: any day from 1–31
      • Preferred time: the time of day the report should go out (times are set in UTC)
  3. Add recipient emails. Enter one or more email addresses, separated by semicolons (e.g. admin@example.com; reporting@nexetic.com). These addresses will automatically receive the report.
  4. Select Save Settings.

Once saved, the reseller will start receiving their License Report as an Excel attachment automatically, according to the schedule you chose  no manual actions needed going forward.

Notes

  • Recipient emails are required before automation can be turned on.
  • You can return to these settings at any time to change the schedule, update recipients, or turn automation off.
  • This does not affect reports that have already been sent manually — it only controls future, automatic sending.
